Common Issues

Insufficient space on the temporary drive or in the output folder

Both MS Word and Word Batch Replacer need some free space in the folder for storing temporary files, referred to as the %temp% environment variable. They also need some free space in the output folder. If MS Word starts with some error messages, or Word Batch Replacer fails to work, make sure that you have enough free space both in the temporary folder and in the output folder.

MS Word does not open some documents

Sometimes you may see a dialog like this:

Blocked file types
